Hi everyone! Welcome, and thank you so much for visiting Write To Be Fearless. My name is Michelle, a recently married wife, avid reader, and passionate, life-long writer.
I often tell people I was born writing. For as long as I can remember, nothing has made me happier than when the words flow from my mind to the paper so smoothly it’s almost as though I’m thinking them there.
Every person who loves to write has felt this sensation. I call it “flow,” and it’s the feeling every writer lives for. But if you’ve experienced “flow,” you also know the process can just as often be fraught with periods of frustration, indecision, and even outright fear.
You know what I’m talking about. Your ideas are vivid, but when you sit down to put them into words, the blank paper or the computer screen glares back at you in defiance. Your mind is suddenly blank. Or maybe you finally read through that finished draft or chapter, and your heart sinks. The piece is terrible, unfixable, and in that moment you believe you’ll never, ever be good enough.
Most of us have felt this way at some point. It is my hope that in providing the insight I’ve gained during my time as a writer, I can help both myself and my readers discover not only a way to overcome that fear, but also to grow in our skills and understanding of what being a writer truly means.
I welcome you to join me on this journey. Together, I know we can all discover our right to be fearless!
